If you’re selling foot-wears, do it correctly and holistically. Don’t be a shoe-seller, be a fashion consultant, or be a foot-wear expert. Sell the shoes not as a salesman but as a fitness/fashion/comfort/ortho expert. People like to buy from experts, not from salespeople. But our approach, attitude, website, Facebook, emailers, and counseling pitch are all aligned to sales and pushing things into the wardrobe of the people. No one is going to like to revisit you or recommend you. Offers, discounts, free sampling has never worked sustainably.
You always have a choice to present the things to a set of audience. The reason why 80% of businesses fail within three years is that they either don’t believe what they do or believe that others are doing better than them. Every business has a unique position in that singular moment, it’s incomparable, and it has its journey to cover up.
